Halloween 2004 was a Little Snappier SNAP, Inc. Chairperson Rick Stoker converted his garage and back yard a SECOND time into a haunted house. (Check out the 2002 effort.) There was no charge, but we asked that people donate to the Seacliff Park effort. Again, it was surprising how many $5, $10, and $20 bills were in the jar at the end of the evening. This time there were more games for the kids and it was another success for SNAP, Inc. The events did not raise a lot of money, but the community awareness and feedback that SNAP, Inc. was on the right track helped to keep the group going. |
